Akasa Air will introduce daily flights connecting Chandigarh with Bengaluru and Goa from 1 December 2026, expanding its domestic network and offering additional travel options between the three cities.
The new services will connect Chandigarh Airport (IXC) with Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru (BLR) and Manohar International Airport in Goa (GOX).

All timings are local. The Bengaluru services operate from Terminal 1. The flights are scheduled to operate daily from 1 December 2026.
Expanded Connectivity to Chandigarh
The new routes will strengthen Chandigarh’s air connectivity with southern India, giving passengers additional options for travel between the city and Bengaluru and Goa. The services may also offer greater flexibility for business travellers, tourists and passengers connecting with onward journeys.
For Akasa Air, the launch represents a further expansion of its domestic network as the airline continues to develop its presence in India’s aviation market.
Akasa Air’s Boeing 737 MAX Fleet
Akasa Air has placed a firm order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and currently operates 43 aircraft of the type.
The Boeing 737 MAX fleet is powered by CFM LEAP-1B engines, designed to improve fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions compared with previous-generation aircraft. The aircraft also feature a quieter cabin, with noise levels reported to be approximately 40 per cent lower.
The airline’s fleet expansion plans support its efforts to increase capacity and broaden its domestic and international network.
The introduction of the Chandigarh services from 1 December 2026 will add daily flight options on the Bengaluru and Goa sectors, further strengthening Akasa Air’s domestic connectivity.
