Akasa Air has announced a key leadership transition, as Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Praveen Iyer has decided to move on after a five-year journey with the airline. Iyer will continue to partner with the leadership team to ensure a smooth transition through April 30, supporting continuity across commercial functions during the handover period.
With his departure, Iyer becomes the second co-founder to exit the airline, following Neelu Khatri, who stepped down last year.
Taking over the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be Anand Srinivasan, who currently serves as the airline’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his expanded role, Srinivasan will report to the airline’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ankur Goel.
The development marks a significant change in Akasa Air’s leadership evolution as the airline continues its growth trajectory in the Indian aviation market.
