Vistara, India’s premier full-service carrier and a collaborative venture between the Tata group and Singapore Airlines, has launched direct four-times-a-week flights connecting Mumbai and Doha. The inaugural flight, operated on Vistara’s state-of-the-art A321neo aircraft, took off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, at 18:45 Hours (IST) on 15 December 2023, and touched down at Hamad International Airport, Doha, at 20:30 Hours (local time zone).
With an increasing demand for travel between India and the Middle East, Vistara has strategically focused on expanding its footprint in the region. The airline already provides direct connectivity to five destinations in the Middle East, including Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Dubai, Jeddah, and Muscat.

The new Mumbai-Doha route, marked as UK 285 for flights from Mumbai to Doha departs at 18:45hrs and arrives at 20:30hrs and UK 286 for the return journey will depart at 21:45hrs and arrive at 04:05hrs the next day, and this new route will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
