IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has exciting news for travelers as it announces the launch of new flight connections between MOPA (North Goa) and Abu Dhabi, scheduled to begin on September 02, 2023. This strategic move aims to meet the increasing demand for travel to Goa and the Middle East, while simultaneously bolstering the airline’s global connectivity.

The new route will operate triweekly flights, providing travelers with more convenient options to fly between North Goa and the cosmopolitan capital of the United Arab Emirates.

The airline has been proactive in strengthening its presence in Abu Dhabi and currently offers flights from five major Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, and Hyderabad. By adding the MOPA-Abu Dhabi route, IndiGo will now operate 52 flights per week to the UAE from eight cities in India, making it easier for passengers from North and West India to access the Middle Eastern destination.

Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed,

“Introducing an exciting development in our flight offerings, we are thrilled to announce new connections between North Goa (Mopa Airport) and Abu Dhabi. The substantial demand, in India, for travel to the Middle East has not gone unnoticed, and at IndiGo, we are proactively taking steps to cater to this demand through these new connections. With the addition of these flights, IndiGo will fly 52 times a week to Abu Dhabi from 8 cities in India, bringing the UAE even closer. As we include these routes in our upcoming winter schedule, we are confident that both destinations will experience a significant boost in trade/tourism. We will continue to enhance our connectivity and remain committed to our promise of providing on-time, affordable, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences to our customers across our wide network.”

With this latest announcement, IndiGo continues to solidify its position as one of India’s preferred airlines, offering passengers an extensive network of domestic and international flights.
