IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has unveiled its latest expansion plans, adding Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh to its impressive roster of destinations. With this addition, Khajuraho becomes the 80th domestic and the 112th overall destination in the 6E network. The airline is set to commence operations on October 10, 2023, with daily direct flights between Varanasi and Khajuraho, as well as one-stop daily connectivity between Delhi and Khajuraho via Varanasi.
The decision to enhance connectivity to Varanasi is a response to the surging demand from both leisure and spiritual travelers in the region. The direct link between Varanasi and Khajuraho is poised to fortify domestic connectivity between the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. IndiGo’s new routes are poised to offer travelers expanded flight options for those journeying between the enchanting temple towns of Khajuraho and Varanasi, thus further expanding the airline’s domestic coverage.
