In a major development that is set to bolster connectivity and strengthen ties between two vibrant Asian nations, Cambodia Angkor Air has announced the launch of a new 4X weekly flight service between Phnom Penh and New Delhi, India. Commencing operations on October 29, this new air link is poised to facilitate easier travel and enhanced economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The eagerly anticipated route will see Cambodia Angkor Air deploy Airbus A320 aircraft.
The departure from Phnom Penh is set for 19:00, arriving at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 22:15 local time. The return flight departs from New Delhi at 23:15, landing in Phnom Penh at 05:15 the following day.
“This new direct flight connection is a testament to the growing relationship between India and Cambodia,” remarked a spokesperson from Cambodia Angkor Air. “We believe this route will not only cater to the travel needs of both countries’ citizens but also stimulate increased tourism and trade activities, fostering deeper cultural and economic ties.”
The introduction of this direct flight route is expected to positively impact various sectors, including tourism, trade, and investment.
