Dubai-based Emirates has announced a significant expansion of its codeshare partnership with Air Canada, now encompassing flights to and from Montréal. The move comes after Emirates’ recent launch of services to Québec’s largest city in July, marking a strategic step forward in enhancing connectivity for travelers. This extension enables Emirates customers to seamlessly plan their journeys between 11 prominent domestic points beyond Montréal and numerous destinations within Emirates’ extensive global network. The collaboration between the two airlines provides a convenient and hassle-free travel experience, allowing passengers to book and utilize services from both carriers using a single ticket.
With this expanded network, the codeshare partnership now spans 11 Canadian destinations via Montréal, alongside a remarkable 69 additional points available through interline arrangements. Notably, the connectivity facilitated by Emirates and Air Canada opens up flexible options for travelers connecting through Canada’s two largest cities, Toronto and Montréal, to reach popular destinations such as Halifax, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Calgary. The arrangement caters to diverse travel needs, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers, as well as those visiting family and friends.
Travelers originating from various Canadian cities can now seamlessly link to Emirates’ services in Montréal or Toronto, embarking on exciting journeys to captivating destinations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East via Emirates’ renowned hub in Dubai. Notably, Emirates offers daily flights to Dubai from Toronto aboard its iconic flagship A380 aircraft. The airline also operates seven weekly flights between Montréal and Dubai, utilizing the Boeing 777, providing passengers with an array of options to plan their global travel itineraries with unparalleled connectivity.
