Akasa Air has announced the launch of its operations in Port Blair, commencing on December 15th. The airline aims to connect Chennai and Bengaluru to the Andaman Islands with daily flights.
Passengers can now enjoy a convenient daily connection from Chennai to Port Blair with Akasa Air’s new services. Additionally, the airline will facilitate travel from Bengaluru to Port Blair with a stopover in Chennai.

- Departure: 07:45 AM from Chennai (MAA)
- Arrival: 09:55 AM at Port Blair (IXZ)
Port Blair to Chennai (QP1486):
- Departure: 10:35 AM from Port Blair (IXZ)
- Arrival: 01:00 PM at Chennai (MAA)
These new connections aim to enhance accessibility to the Andaman Islands, providing both business and leisure travelers with more flexibility in their travel plans. Akasa Air is set to contribute to the growing air connectivity to Port Blair.
