AirAsia continues to soar high in its growing connectivity between India and Malaysia, celebrating its first newly-resumed flight from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur yesterday. The inaugural flight, with a full passenger load factor, departed from Biju Patnaik Airport at 12:50 PM and landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 2) at 7:05 AM local time.
Guests onboard flight AK30 were greeted with a warm reception upon arrival by representatives from Tourism Malaysia, AirAsia’s Senior Management, and a host of Allstars, who handed out exclusive goodie bags to the delighted travelers. This celebratory atmosphere marked the successful reinstatement of the route, underscoring AirAsia’s commitment to enhancing travel options between the two regions.
AirAsia now flies direct to Bhubaneswar from Kuala Lumpur three times a week, in addition to its services to several other destinations throughout India, including Chennai, Jaipur, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad. This expansion is a testament to AirAsia’s dedication to bolstering international connectivity and providing more travel opportunities for passengers.
