Air India Express has officially commenced its operations in Gwalior, marking a significant milestone for the airline. The inaugural flight, operated by a Boeing B737 MAX with registration VT-BXG, took off, symbolizing the start of regular services between Hyderabad and Gwalior.
The airline is set to connect the two cities with three weekly flights, enhancing connectivity and convenience for passengers. The flight schedule for the Hyderabad-Gwalior route is as follows:

In addition to the Gwalior operations, Air India Express has recently expanded its network from Hyderabad. This strategic expansion aims to meet the growing demand for air travel and further strengthen Air India Express’ presence in key domestic routes.
In June 2023, Air India Group solidified its commitment to modernization by finalizing orders for 250 Airbus aircraft and 220 Boeing jets, signaling its strategic vision for the future.
