Air India announced the reopening of its Delhi – Amsterdam route, slated for December 17, 2023, following a six-week hiatus. The airline has officially opened reservations for the route, which will be serviced by the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
The national carrier will reinstate its service with four weekly flights, offering travelers a convenient connection between the Indian capital and the picturesque Dutch city.
The flight schedule for the Delhi – Amsterdam route is as follows:
- Flight AI155: Departure from Delhi at 12:55, Arrival in Amsterdam at 17:40 (local time), operating on days x256.
- Flight AI156: Departure from Amsterdam at 19:45, Arrival in Delhi at 07:55 the following day, operating on days x256.
Air India, with a fleet of 122 aircraft, boasts a diverse range of models, including 14 A319s, 9 A320s, 13 A321s, 31 A320neos, 4 A321neos, 23 B777s, and 27 B787s. The airline is set to expand further with the imminent addition of six new A350 aircraft, complementing its existing fleet.
In June 2023, Air India solidified its commitment to modernization by finalizing orders for 250 Airbus aircraft and 220 Boeing jets, signaling its strategic vision for the future.
