IndiGo Airline, India’s leading low-cost carrier, is extending an invitation to experienced pilots for an exclusive Open House event. Set to take place on June 24, 2024, from 9:30 am onwards at Le Meridien, MG Road, Gurgaon, this event promises opportunities for well-defined and accelerated career growth within the IndiGo fleet.

The airline has specified eligibility criteria for this hiring event. They are seeking experienced Airbus First Officers (FO) and Senior First Officers (SFO), as well as seasoned Boeing/Airbus Captains and Trainers. Qualified pilots will have the chance to interact with IndiGo’s leadership team and explore potential career advancements within the company.

IndiGo has solidified its position as the market leader in the domestic aviation sector, capturing a 61.6% market share in May, up from 60.6% in April, according to data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Operating a fleet of over 350 aircraft, IndiGo runs approximately 2,000 daily flights, connecting more than 85 domestic destinations and 30 international locations. The airline’s extensive network and robust operational capacity underline its status as a dominant player in the aviation industry.

Looking ahead, IndiGo’s ambitious expansion plans are reflected in its substantial order book, which includes over 960 aircraft. This order comprises 258 Airbus A320neo, 605 Airbus A321neo, 69 Airbus A321XLR, five ATR72-600, and a recent addition of 30 Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft ordered in May 2024.

Pilots attending the Open House can expect a detailed overview of IndiGo’s growth trajectory and the various opportunities available to enhance their careers. The airline’s focus on expansion and innovation makes it an attractive option for aviation professionals looking to advance in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
